New Zealand was once known as the re-emerging microcosm for the planetary macrocosm. We were seen as a pioneer for fair play and a moral compass for

good. We were basically a country at peace having 'reasonable' race relations and there were no beggars or street people.

However, things have changed over the last 20 years and this county has become more divided as the haves gain more and the have nots lose ground.

We also had good working relationships with our Pacific Island neighbours and were were seen as a relatively independent representative within the United

Nations.

Yet, recently we were independent however NZ has now cuddled up to the US Military and Security apparatus and thus our neutrality has become questionable.

The below article illustrates how we have used the Five Eyes listening outpost at Waihopai in the South island to gather all communications going in

and out of the South Pacific Island regions and then forwarding them on to the US intelligence agencies.

During this time, NZ embarked on a PR campaign to gain support from all countries around the world to take a temporary seat on the UN Security Council.

Saying that that NZ was basically an honest broker and fair minded player. Yet, behind the rhetoric NZ was in deed spying on its Pacific neighbours.

Thus NZ under the present regime seems to be losing its way - most definitely as an independent country.

A piece from www.thedailyblog.co.nz - By Martyn Bradbury

So news that Snowden and Greenwald were right won’t even register with the sleepy hobbits. So many NZers have personally invested their own ego into the We are a Cargo Cult minus the cargo.

Why on earth would any country vote for NZ to be on the UN Security Council when we are America’s 53rd State after Israel and Australia?

empty aspiration of brand #TeamKey that they point blank refuse to criticise him, no matter what he does.
