MP Sue Kedgely castigates NZ Government"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>And so we in this country are proud of our democratic heritage and in many ways can be seen as the oldest democracy on earth.<\/p>\n<p>But things have changed markedly. Now note that the opposite is happening and we are now giving away democracy and we NZers especially Joe Sixpack<br \/>\n    and partner Carolyn Cardigan are allowing it, without caring or even wanting to know anything about it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greens.org.nz\/speeches\/coup-detat-actions-government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.greens.org.nz\/speeches\/coup-detat-actions-government<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>Imagine to my horror seeing the courageous and passionate Green member of Parliament, Sue Kedgely standing up in parliament stating that there has been<br \/>\n    a 'coup detat' in this country that has been sponsored by the National Party of NZ, the government of the day with its cohort the ACT party and that<br \/>\n    it had been specifically approved by the NZ Prime Minister John Key.<\/p>\n<p>This is in relation to a Government Bill that is being rushed through Parliament to sack the democratically elected Canterbury Regional Council, that<br \/>\n    governs water rights to the Canterbury region. She also stated that this follows closely behind the governments decision to undemocratically dissolve<br \/>\n    4 democratically elected councils in the Auckland region and make them into one, overriding both democratic and ethical considerations and running<br \/>\n    this process in the interim with unelected appointees.<\/p>\n<p>This to NZers is not what 100s of thousands of NZ men in two world wars and other smaller wars went overseas to defend.<\/p>\n<p>We are a country of free people who believe in the power of the ballot box and this is being taken away from us with virtually not even a murmur&hellip;<br \/>\n    Why are we silent about this?<\/p>\n<p>Look carefully at this VIDEO on the Green party website and you will learn a great deal about parliament and the emptiness of what is happening.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greens.org.nz\/speeches\/coup-detat-actions-government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.greens.org.nz\/speeches\/coup-detat-actions-government<\/a><\/p>\n<p>How many politicians have stated that there is a \"coup-detat\" happening in NZ before?<\/p>\n<p>Post Script:<\/p>\n<p>This piece from the husband of my cousin. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; http:\/\/pundit.co.nz\/content\/super-city-or-super-mess<\/p>\n<p>Note that: The NZ Law Society complained to the United Nations that our present Government is failing our Democracy.
