All the sounds of nature coalesce and vibrate, in one vast symphony as in, for example, the dawn chorus of birds. The human contribution to this living,
\n nourishing element we call sound very often shows a lack of awareness, similarly to other aspects of the environment. A mindful use of sound can be
\n of great help in these turbulent times.<\/p>\n
In understanding sound ecology and the \u2018phonosphere\u2019 - that above the lithosphere (the rigid outer part of the earth, consisting of the crust and upper
\n mantle) and \u2018within' the teaming biosphere - resides the all of nature\u2019s creatures emanating their calls and instinctive sounds. But more so, the whistle
\n of the wind, the rustle of leaves, the murmur of a brook and the crashing of waves on a beach - everywhere natures dance emanates a soundscape that
\n delights and touches our senses.
\n \n<\/p>\n
Then we have industrial man - and we all know these sounds.<\/p>\n
But first ...<\/p>\n
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and as the greatest story of Judaism, Christianity and Islam says - the word was with God and the
\n word was God. <\/p>\n
And in this profound creation story a vibration made itself known … science is belated catching up stating that there was a big bang, when the greatest
\n vibration ever - burst into being …
\n \n<\/p>\n
And when we speak a word our first utterance has our vocal chord\u2019s vibrating the air that comes out our mouth as a word - in the beginning was the word.<\/p>\n
So vibration is very much a part of the way our universe came into being, and also how this message has been carried onward - to you dear reader - even
\n today.<\/p>\n
Many years ago spiritual scientists were able to show that sound can affect matter and that by placing a hand full of flour on a plate of glass that was
\n about half a meter square and then running up the edge of it a violin bow - they noticed certain nodal patterns emerge - Evidently Galileo was aware
\n of this from his time in the 1600\u2019s and this has been continued by the Theosophists in the 19 century and and Rudolf Steiner\u2019s Anthroposophists in
\n the early 20th century. <\/p>\n
Many experiments even showed that liquid can burst out of a pool of liquid when influenced by sound - which exhibited that form could come into being and
\n that standing patterns have been now shown to mimic geometric patterns in flowers and plants and even the shapes of jellyfish.
\n \n<\/p>\n
We can now record trees and plants \u2018singing to each other\u2019 with musical sounds that are in many ways are both beautiful and mysterious. Also scientists
\n talk about the \u2018echo\u2019 of the big bang, the first movement of creation. <\/p>\n
So the importance is to realise that we are totally surrounded by not only beauty and magnificence but so much more that is unseen, below our daily vision.
\n \n<\/p>\n
Which is a very good reminder for us all that we need to get away from our devices and computers and get back into the garden, where we can relax and just
\n be. Also by standing barefooted in the garden or in the soil - this \u2018earthing\u2019 allows us to once again restore our balance so that in many ways we
\n become a conduit between heaven and earth - or a tuning fork - or as Dr Robin Kelly says - a \u2018human antennae.\u2019
\n \n<\/p>\n
So when we look deeply into the atomic and subatomic realms - we see that not only is everything on our planet vibrating - we can feel that we too are
\n an energy bundle of sub atomic atoms within a vast planearty and universal energy field.
\n \n<\/p>\n
And yet there is more - when we still ourselves we may come to the realisation of the essence of who we are - this \u2018something\u2019 can touch our soul - heralding
\n a profound panorama of being - an opportunity to divine who we really are.
\n \n<\/p>\n
This is a vast subject that one can immerse themselves into - for a whole life time.
\n \n<\/p>\n
This garden universe vibrates complete
\n
Some may get a sound so sweet
\n
Vibrations reach on up to become light
\n
And then through gamma, out of sight
\n
Between the eyes and ears there lie
\n
The sounds of color and the light of a sigh
\n
And to hear the sun, what a thing to believe
\n
But it's all around if we could but perceive
\n
To know ultra violet, infra-red and X-rays
\n
Beauty to find in so many ways
\n
Two notes of the chord, that's our full scope

But to reach the chord is our life's hope
\n
And to name the chord is important to some
